Abu Garcia Brings Performance to Affordable Reels and Combos with its New Max Line

The Max X, STX, and PRO spinning reels feature both the Rocket Line Management System™ for better control of all types of fishing line, and the Rocket Spool Lip Design™ that offers more control of the line coming off the spool. Machined aluminum spools provide strength without the added weight, and their slow oscillation helps to ensure even line lay with all types of fishing line. Bearing counts range from three on the Max X, five on the Max STX to six on the Max PRO, and all include an additional roller bearing for smooth operation. Max spinning combos are constructed from 24 Ton graphite for a lightweight, balanced design and feature custom designed reel seats with an integrated polymer comfort grip.

Max spincast reels feature a Quadcam pickup system, and a smooth, consistent multidisc drag system. The Max X has one ball bearing, the Max STX has two, while the Max PRO has three ball bearings and all include an additional roller bearing for smooth operation. All reels have an Easy Spool feature and come pre-spooled with Berkley® Trilene® XL line. The Max X, STX and PRO reels are also available in a combo version that offers high density EVA grips and stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts.
