Jonathan Phillips and Curtis Vaughn took home the top spot in the first event of 2016 for the Collins Inc. – Bass For Cash Series with a massive five fish limit of 29.99 lbs anchored by an 8.24 lb kicker.  The duo netted $906.00 for their efforts.

Randy Broughman and Bobby Kinsey secured the second position with their limit of fish weighing in at 22.52 lbs, including the eventual lunker for the event at 8.56 lbs, granting the tandem $523.00 for the second spot and an additional $155.00 in cash / $100 gift certificate from Outdoor Accessories Unlimited for their lunker catch.

Ronald and Ronnie Clark finished the day in the third position with their catch of 22.18 lbs and earned $349.00.  Steve Vann and Richard Lewis filled the fourth spot with 19.58 lbs and picked up $279.00 for their catch.  Rounding out the final paying position was the team of Charlie Creech and Jamie Rose with their catch of 18.40 lbs earning the tandem $267.00 for their efforts.
