Torrance, CA–  In celebration of Takahiro Omori’s induction into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, Sunline America is releasing a highly limited edition of its iconic Shooter fluorocarbon line. Only 80 spools of this special edition line will be produced, each featuring Omori’s signature in gold as a tribute to his historic career and contributions to bass fishing. All proceeds from the sale of these spools is being donated to the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame.

The release commemorates a milestone that is significant for both Omori and Sunline. Omori is the first Japanese angler inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, recognizing a career that spans more than three decades and includes nearly $3 million in combined B.A.S.S. and MLF/FLW earnings.

Omori’s most celebrated accomplishment came in 2004, when he won the Bassmaster Classic on Lake Wylie in South Carolina, becoming the first non-U.S. professional angler to win the sport’s premier championship. His victory helped establish a new path for international anglers pursuing careers in American professional bass fishing.

Beyond his Classic title, Omori has won seven times with B.A.S.S., qualified for 12 Bassmaster Classics, and recorded major victories across FLW and Major League Fishing.

The limited-edition Shooter reflects the long-standing relationship between Omori and Sunline and celebrates an angler whose influence extends well beyond his tournament record.

With only 80 spools produced, the special edition Sunline Shooter is a rare collector’s piece honoring one of the most influential international anglers in the history of professional bass fishing.
