teams showed up at Jordan for the 6th qualifying tournament of the Boats Unlimited~Piedmont Bass Classics
2012 Spring Bass Tournament Trail.

The weather was nice with 57 degrees in the morning with 3 mile an hour winds and 79 degrees in the pm with 10 to 15 mph winds gusting to 20 and the water level was about a 6 inches above normal. We had a great weighin and I want to thank everyone that participated!

181 fish were weighed in for a nice total weight of 462 pounds and all the bass looked fairly healthy. Most fish
were caught early morning in 1 to 2 feet of water on a variety of baits including spinnerbaits, plastic worms,
crankbaits, buzzbaits and Rat-L-Traps for the most part. The hot baits for the day reported to be plastics and
topwater! Some bass were reported caught in 17 feet of water on Rat-L-Traps Water temps were around 75
degrees. I want to thank all the anglers that participated and that support this trail. Also, we have the greatest
sponsors supporting our trail!

Our next and final qualifying ‘Boats Unlimited $10,000 Spring Bass Trail’ event will be Saturday, June 9th, at
Falls Lake. the Championship is scheduled at Jordan Lake on Saturday June 23rd.

Our next ‘Special Open’ Tournament will be the ‘Overton’s of Raleigh Open’ at Shearon Harris Lake Saturday,
June 2nd.
