NORMAN, Okla. (April 1, 2014) – The Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela’s will host its third event of the 2014 tournament season on Saturday, April 12, at Lake Texoma. This marks the first visit to Lake Texoma for the Texas Team Trail.

Registration for the event is already underway – anglers can secure an opportunity to pre-fish Friday, April 11, by completing their registration online or via phone prior to midnight on Thursday, April 10. All anglers that pre-register will also be entered into a drawing for a Power Pole Shallow Water Anchor. In addition, anglers that opt to register online at www.texasteamtrail.com will be entered into a drawing for a Mustang Survival inflatable PFD.

The Texoma event is the third of four 2014 qualifying events that guarantee a fully rigged, 18-foot boat, motor, trailer package as first-place prize. The winning anglers at Lake Texoma will walk away with a brand-new Triton 18XS powered by an Evinrude 150 HO, valued at $27,500.

In addition to the payout, the event offers anglers an unprecedented opportunity in terms of sponsor bonuses and television coverage. The budget-friendly $250 entry fee, plus multiple contingency programs and a guaranteed, over-100% payback at every event provides tremendous value to the weekend angler.

On-site registration is set for Friday, April 11, from 4-7 p.m. at Highport Marina (120 Texoma Harbor Dr., Pottsboro, TX 75076). At least one team member must attend, as boat numbers will be assigned during this time. The tournament will launch Saturday, April 12, at safe light from Highport Marina and the weigh-in will begin at the same location at 3 p.m. Only anglers that launch their boat at Highport Marina will be allowed to load their boats on trailers prior to weighing fish.
