Last month, team Marshall Hughes and James Franklin walked away as champions in the first regular season event, also on Sam Rayburn Reservoir, with an impressive five fish limit of 28.06. The team also took home the Power-Pole Big Bass honors with an 8.04 Rayburn giant. With prizes and contingency bonuses, Marshall and James walked away with a total of $51,795.00.
