Today the Long View Lions Club held our 6th annual team bass tournament. Early morning daybreak temperatures dipping below freezing and a stiff NW breeze faced 34 angling teams for today’s event with high temperatures reaching high 40’s at weigh-in time.

Anglers produces many impressive bags of 5 five limits, here are the results as follows. Top Adult Child Team Chad McKinney and Colby Edwards with 5.39 pound catch earning the pair $150.00. Top Senior Citizen Team Tim Hollar and Bob Killian with 4.27 earning the pair $150.00. Top Man and Woman team Lori and Dalton Edwards 6.82 earning them $150.00. Top teams for the day Rick Hedrick and Bob Bolick weighed in 5 bass with a total weight of 19.32 earning them $150.00. Tony and Alex Sanders weighed in a five bass limit weighing in at 19.32 earning them $300.00, Second place went to Vince and Mark Parker brought a five bass limit to the scales weighing 19.50 earning them $500.00. Fist place Rodney and Clay Sisk brought 5 bass to the scales weighing 25.05 as well as big bass of the day 6.86 earning the big fish pot of $500.00 and $1000.00.
