Powers Swain Chevy Fishing Team held its first bass tournament on Shearon Harris Lake, NC.  The date of the tournament was February 10, 2013.  This was the first tournament of the year for the Team.  It should have been called “The Frost Bowl”.  Temperature at the start of the morning was 24 degrees!  It took a few hours for the sun to finally warm the day up, well sort of!!!  The top two teams were very close in weight and for the big fish as well.

The top three teams were:

1.    Bobby Williams from Salisbury, NC & Byong Lee from Stedman, NC weighed in 11.68 lbs.

2.    Hal Abshire Cameron, NC & Ethan Cox from West End, NC weighed in 11.10 lbs.

3.    Craig MacDonald from Fayetteville, NC & Eugene Maynard from Morrisville, NC weighed in 7.88 lbs.

Big Fish award went to the Team of Williams & Lee with a 7.27 lb. bass.

Second Big Fish award went to the Team of Abshire & Cox with a 7.05 lb. bass.
