19 teams showed up for the final qualifying tournament of the 2013 Piedmont Bass Classics ‘End of Year’ Team Tournament Bass Fishing Trail.

The weather was great! 61 degrees in the morning, getting up to about 71 in the pm. Bobby & David Matthews took 1st place honors with 5 bass weighing 22.81 lbs. They won the 1st place money, 1st place Big Fish (7.99 lbs.) and 1st place TWT for a grand total of $1,162! Vernon Fleming & Glen Long won 2nd place (13.39 lbs.) taking home $400 !!

Only 30 fish were weighed in for a total weight of 95 pounds. Big fish for the day was 7.99 lbs. with a 7.01 close behind. The quality fish were caught from 8 to 14 feet of water on a variety of baits including crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs and c-rigs for the most part. Spinnerbaits were the 1st place teams choice lures. Water temps were around 65 degrees.
