ANDERSON, SC (March 29, 2026) – Tournament competition has concluded for the CrushCity Hartwell Slam presented by Sufix contested at Lake Hartwell in Anderson, SC.  The full field of more than 280 teams competed again today, vying for their share of the more than $20,000 in prizes and contingencies.  Teams also earned double points for their two highest-placing teams inside of the Top 150, and the Top 15 teams in the final event standings earned automatic qualification into the 2026 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Xander Patton & Stephen Brooks won the first ACA tournament of 2026 with a two-day total weight of 41.48 pounds.  The pair entered today in 8th place after weighing 18.39 pounds on Day 1 of tournament competition.  Today, they rallied to bring in 23.09 pounds and win the CrushCity Hartwell Slam presented by Sufix, besting 2nd place by just over three pounds.  For the victory, they earn a $1,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card, two 13 Fishing Jinx Spinning Rods, Rapala prize package, $50 AFTCO gift card, two Turtlebox speakers, two pair of Bajio Sunglasses, and a Bob’s Machine Shop Jack Plate.  They also earned the G2 Gemini Jersey $200 contingency bonus.

Finishing the event in 2nd place were Garrett Ring & Trace Antunes from top ranked University of Montevallo.  They held the lead overnight, after bringing in 22.35 pounds on Day 1.  On the final day of tournament competition, they weighed 15.86 pounds to bring their two-day total weight to 38.21 pounds.  The 2nd place finish earned them a $800 Bass Pro Shops gift card, two 13 Fishing Jinx Spinning Rods, Rapala prize package, $50 AFTCO gift cards, a Trailer Valet jack, and two pairs of Bajio Sunglasses.

Rounding out the Top 3 were Peyton Harris & Dalton Head.  After entering the final day in 3rd place, they were able to maintain their spot in the standings by bringing in 19.00 pounds.  That Day 2 weight boosted their overall tournament total to 38.03 pounds.  For finishing in 3rd, they earned a $600 Bass Pro Shops gift card, two 13 Fishing Jinx Spinning Rods, a Rapala prize package, $50 AFTCO gift card, two pairs of Bajio Sunglasses, and a Bob’s Machine Shop Prop Dock Kit.
