What a tremendous ending to a tremendous season for all the participating anglers in the 2013 Carolina’s Bass Challenge down on Lake Murray. 178 teams showed up to fish for a 30 place payout, including a $45,000 Boat-Motor-Trailer pkg that was finally won Sunday afternoon by Mike Stephens and Hunter Hicks. These two guys corralled 31.92 LBS over the two day event and won by just over a 1/2 LB. They had one of the most successful years ever on a Team Trail tour with a previous win on Lake Wylie and a 3rd place finish on Lake Norman early in the year. Their total winnings fishing the CBC in 2013 probably came very close to $60,000 when you include the boat they just won Sunday!! Check out the how deep the payouts run in the attachment below…………..unbelievable. Also big Kudos to the teams at Foothills Marine in Morganton and Marshalls Marine in Lake City, SC. They, along with Tournament Director Brett Collins, have put in a tremendous amount of work each and every event, and really went out with a bang this past weekend.
