Even with the threat of hurricane type weather, 9 teams arrived at the ramp for the 7th and final qualifier of the
2012 JB Custom Rods~Piedmont Bass Classics $5,000 Fall Team Bass Tournament Trail.

31 keepers were brought to the scales weighing in at a total of 75 pounds! Rick Ohlson & Joey Davis of Garner had 5 bass that weighed 19.43 pounds, winning the 1st place prize of $540. Ohlson & Davis won $540 for 1st, $126 for the 1st place Big Fish and 1st Place TWT worth $245, for a grand total of $911! The bag included 3 over slots!!

The day started with 55 degrees at blastoff, and about 60 degrees at the weighin. The winds were blowing out
of the NE at around 20 mph all day. Most fish were caught in 2 to 20 feet of water. Hot baits for the day were
spinnerbaits, jerk baits and RatLTraps.  Water temps were around 66 degrees. The Big Fish weighed in at 6.01
pounds! I want to thank all the anglers that participated and that support this trail.

Our next tournament will be the 2012 JB Custom Rods~Piedmont Bass Classics Fall Team Bass Trail
Championship, also at Shearon Harris, out of Holleman’s Crossing Wildlife Ramp, Sunday, November 4th.
This will be our last event for 2012. The Championship is for Qualified Teams Only.
10 Team have qualified for the Championship and the projected 1st Place winnings will be $1,700 !!!
