8 teams arrived at the ramp for the 4th qualifier in the 2012 JB Custom Rods~Piedmont Bass Classics $5,000
Fall Team Bass Tournament Trail, and were greeted with another beautiful Fall morning!

17 keepers were brought to the scales weighing in at a total of 58 pounds! Chad Craven of Raleigh & Tommy Farley of Colonial Heights, VA are on a hot roll in the Fall Trail! They had 5 bass that weighed 20.52 pounds winning the 1st place prize of $500! They also caught the big fish weighing 6.29 pounds and collected $112 for that, along with winning the TWT worth $175! This is their 3rd first place finish for the Fall…they are hot!

The day started with 60 degrees at blastoff, then slowly got into the upper 70’s at weighin. No wind was around in the morning and at the most it got up to 5 mph out of the NE for the day.  The morning bite was hot and the lake was slick as glass. Most fish were caught in 2 to 17 feet of water.  C-rigs seemed to be the key when worked around channel dropoffs. Water temps were around 73 degrees. I want to thank all the anglers that participated and that support this trail.

Our next tournament will be the 2012 JB Custom Rods~Piedmont Bass Classics Fall Team Bass Trail Qualifier #5 at Shearon Harris out of Holleman’s Crossing Wildlife Ramp, Sunday, October 7th. With only 3 qualifiers left, teams with only 1 qualified event, still have a chance to fish in the Championship if they fish the last 3 qualifying events in the Fall Trail as a team. Don’t miss out on this great chance to win some nice paybacks!
