High winds have forced postponement of the final round of the Bassmaster Elite Series Falcon Slam. The event will conclude on Monday.

Rick Clunn, who nearly never agrees with cancelling a fishing day due to a forecast, agreed that this decision by B.A.S.S. officials was the right call. A dust storm was upon them and 10-foot waves with a short period between them had piled up at the dam where, not only the pros, but spectators and media would have tried to go.

Clunn is fishing protected water near the launch site and would have likely won the tournament had it been finished today. He gives himself a 50/50 chance of winning tomorrow.
