Cabela’s Big Bass Bash Heads to Kentucky Lake and Paris, Tennessee

Kentucky Lake is rich in fishing and tournament history, and this weekend it’ll serve as a crucial battleground for the Cabela’s School of the Year race as several teams’ duel for the most prestigious title in college bass fishing. With points on the line, anything can change the game as they hit the water in the second stop of the Association of Collegiate Anglers series.

The ACA Cabela’s Big Bass Bash runs from April 4th to 6th and it’s sure to have a big impact on the final standings of the rankings. Nine of the top ten schools in the country are represented in the field and it’s expected that this event will be key in who will be in top position as the season heads into its final stops in May and June.

With fishing expected to be on fire this weekend at Kentucky Lake, for the college anglers fishing in this one of a kind event, it’s anybody’s guess as to what it will take to place in the top positions in this Big Bass event. An event that will feature over 180 of the top college bass anglers in the nation not only vying for points, but also for over $20,000.00 in prizes.
