Bass Mafia Unveils Rebranding, New Products at ICAST
Bass Mafia heads proudly and confidently into ICAST 2022 bolstering a brand-new logo and identity along with several new spectacularly engineered products. Since being acquired by House of Outdoors in October 2021, the team has continued its excitement and motivation to bring the best tackle storage solutions on the market to the most elite anglers. This time, with a fresh new logo and refinement of its product line.
“Bass Mafia set the standard for premium-tier tackle storage upon the brand’s inception and has continued to do so ever since. We felt that a refined brand look (including a new custom logo) would help elevate the brand’s marketing approach and give its consumers an edgy, yet first-class feel,” remarked Andy Baumbach, Director of Marketing. “The Bass Mafia brand resonates so well with the competitive angler that it’s easy to keep the market excited about the brand and products. We know this new branding will continue to fuel the fire.”, stated Baumbach.
The flagship series of tackle storage, bolsters an improved, reimagined take on its Coffin line of tackle boxes. “Along with the application of the new branding, we’ve made several improvements to the functionality of our Coffin series that I think anglers will appreciate.”, stated Isaac Payne, Director of Innovation & Design at House of Outdoors. “We’ve altered the hinges so the lid opens completely to 180° and created a very solid single latch design for these boxes. The lids and bases have been refined slightly so the boxes will nest and stack perfectly with each other and have kept the rugged industrial look that anglers love. We’ve also added rubber anti-skid feet to the bases to prevent sliding around on the deck of your boat.”
Bass Mafia is making other improvements to its legacy products as well, including fan favorites like the Money Bag – the first heavy-duty soft bag on the market. “There’s so much runway with this brand that we haven’t even scratched the surface. We’re excited about establishing this new brand language while improving long-standing industry favorites and venturing into new product categories.”, noted Trey Epich, SVP of Product. “There’s a lot on its way from Bass Mafia and we’re excited to unveil it, you’re going to want to keep your eyes peeled this year.”
