Bragg’s Bag Top Spot at 2026 Toyota Bonus Bucks Owners Tournament

Bragg’s Bag Top Spot at 2026 Toyota Bonus Bucks Owners Tournament
There is plenty to brag about for the father-son team of Jade and Caige Bragg after they brought 24-pounds, 1-ounce of largemouth bass to the scales to win the 2026 Toyota Bonus Bucks Owners Tournament on legendary Lake Guntersville. The 15th annual celebration of Toyota-owning anglers delivered a memory that will last as long as a Toyota tow-vehicle for Jade and 18-year-old, Caige.

The Bragg’s bagged an incredible $15,000 payday for winning this no-entry fee event, but like many of the nearly 300 teams registered to compete, they felt like winners before they ever made a cast.
“This is our first time fishing this event and we were absolutely blown away,” Jade Bragg said. “We always want to catch them, but we felt like winners just leaving Saturday’s registration with all the gear, the opportunity with the raffles and getting to hang out with all the Toyota pro anglers.”

For 15 years, this event has created a place for anglers to come together each fall through their shared love of bass fishing and Toyota trucks. Anglers from all over the country and all walks of life converged at Lake Guntersville and were treated to a first-class experience that feels more like a family reunion than a bass tournament.

The Bragg’s victory capped a memorable weekend where smiles, hugs, and handshakes were as common as fishing stories around the Goose Pond complex near Scottsboro, Alabama. Jade was quick to give his son credit for doing much of the heavy lifting on the water. Using forward facing sonar to target bass roaming around schools of baitfish, the Bragg’s employed a Megabass Jerkbait and a Crush City Freeloader to catch their fish.

The victory represented more than a good day on the water. It marked the first tournament the father-son duo has won together. Jade Bragg, who cuts Power Line right aways for a living, used the term ‘special’ to describe this win with his son, and their experience being a part of the Toyota Bonus Bucks program.

“We bought a 2026 Tundra last year largely because of how impressed I’ve been with my wife’s 2014 FJ Cruiser that has over 300,000 miles on it these days,” Bragg offered. “Toyota’s reliability is second to none, and they support a sport we love. Since we bought the Tundra, Caige has claimed that truck as he said it’s the best tow vehicle imaginable. “We’re still pretty new to being Bonus Bucks members but we are blown away with this event and the way Toyota supports folks like us who enjoy fishing on the weekends. It makes me proud to be a part of this community.”

The festivities began Saturday afternoon, when anglers were treated to a truckload of Toyota gear, a complementary dinner, meet and greets with Team Toyota pros and some unbelievable raffle prizes. Every registered angler was entered into a random drawing for prizes that included Costa Sunglasses packages, Turtlebox Speakers, a $1,500 Bass Pro Shops gift card and a Tracker Classic bass boat.
The evening culminated with a final drawing for a brand-new 2027 Toyota Tundra, which was awarded to Shane Allison of Eddyville, Kentucky.
The impressive prizes reflect the spirit of this event designed to reward more than just the teams who have a great day on the water. For Bonus Bucks participants, a passion for fishing and the outdoors goes hand in hand with the Toyota trucks that tow their boats and get them to the lake.

For Toyota, this tournament provides the opportunity to roll out the red carpet and applaud loyal customers who support the brand while pursuing a sport and pastime they love. For anglers who have never attended a Toyota Owners Tournament, there is truly no other event like it. The atmosphere is driven by excitement and shared passions, built on a foundation of community and fellowship.
Toyota Bonus Bucks remains a premier contingency program for anglers competing at every level. With over 620 supported events, the program offers opportunities for anglers to earn additional rewards for doing what they already love if they tow their boat with a 2022 or newer Toyota tow-vehicle.
