On May 19 Toms Marine Team Trail held it’s 4th tournament of the season and had 110 boats entry the event. Fishing has slowed since the early year hot streak but there were still lots of nice fish brought to the scales. The team of Tim Smiley and Steve Gibson topped the field with a five fish limit weighing in at 17.43-pounds.  That limit included the lunker largemouth of the tournament and won them $2,980. David Mullins and Brent Hoskins were a close second with 16.63-pounds. They won $1,000 for the efforts and took over the season points lead. Clifford Bunch and Paul Napier continue to wear out the smallmouth and brought a 5 fish limit of smallies weighing 15.72-pounds earning them $600. Fourth place and $500 went to Steve Bean and Earl Bolin with 15.26-pounds. Rounding out the top 5 and winning $440 was Mike Golden and Guy Sams with 14.98-pounds.
