Navionics adds 4,500 Fish Attractors in Missouri

POSTED: January 15, 2018

As part of our ongoing product enhancement, we recently added the locations of 4,500 fish attractors on 36 lakes in Missouri. This is in addition to approximately 5,500 released earlier this year for lakes in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

Fish attractors are made up of a variety of manmade and natural materials, such as pallets and cleared brush, to create habitats where fish can forage or hide from predators. They also serve as productive fishing spots for anglers to target. On some lakes with a lot of structure, reducing the contour density can be help make the fish symbol easier to see. Now, just by searching the map, anglers can find more places to fish for bass, crappie, walleye and more!

In Missouri, the following lakes are updated: Austin, Blue Springs, Brookfield City Lake, Buffalo Bill, Bull Shoals, Clearwater, Fellows, Fourche Lake, Fox Valley, Harrison County, Hunnewell, Jamesport Community, Lake Jacomo, Lake of the Ozarks, Paho, Long Branch, Longview, Macon City, Maple Leaf, Mark Twain, Mozingo, Norfork, Pomme de Terre, Pony Express, Prairie Lee Lake, Ripley, Rt J. Reservoir, Sims Valley, Smithville, Stockton, Table Rock Lake, Thomas Hill, Truman, Wappapello, Watkins, and Willow Brook.
