Great Time On Ray Hubbard.

From catching nothing at Beaver  to having over a 20 pound bag on Hubbard, glad I came on down here to practice for the PAA All Star event.  This was my first time on Ray Hubbard and I have to say I like the lake.  Its a typical shallow Texas lake.  The water is down about 3 feet so there is a lot of exposed structure right now. I am hoping the water comes up a few feet before our tournament. This way I will know where a lot of that stuff is, and it will be hidden to the other guys.   Over all it was a good day, I went out on the lake with a good friend of mine and our biggest today was a 7.6.  Our 5 biggest would have pushed the low 20’s.  The funny thing is that the bite was off. The water temp dropped 7 degrees from yesterday to today. I couldn’t imagine how good they would have been biting if it wouldn’t have dropped.

We should have a great tourney here in April.  Im thinking it will take like 23 a day to win.
