How to sum up John Laurenza….sigh…lol. Well here it goes, I was desperate to talk to people who lived down in Florida “as I was still stuck in alaska with the Army and my beautiful wife Alicia for a few months. So I spoke with alot of great people. One of these great people I come to know as none other than the great John Laurenza. He helped me to remember fishing places I had forgotten in my time over seas, as well as helping me to deep think back to events around my traumatic experiences that I had all but blocked from my memory. And he taught me to only focus on the good times of fishing and being with my friends and family. He taught me once again that fishing can be a time for healing and collecting of ones thoughts. BE A HEALING TOOL. My mom used fishing to help me to heal when my dad passed away at his age 34 my age 3 and again iv started to reach out and use it again as my mom departed this world comming up on four months now ago and I recently found out my grandmother is not far behind her. So please next time you take out your check book or card or old fashioned dollars and cents to donate. Donate to john at lure concepts of vero beach. Because with programs like his maybe 22 vets a day will realize there is somthing yo live for tommarow. I thank you all and look forward to seeing you outside and enjoying our beautiful enviroment.
