Danny won a total of $775 for his day on the water. He would like to thank Jesus Christ, Shoffit Marine, his lovely wife Vallie Cross and Especially Glen Kimble for letting him win… lol……

Glen Kimble came in second place with hi limit weighing 20.04 lbs and his biggest bass was 8.20 lbs.
Glen fishes out of his Bass Cat / Mercury rig and reported fishing the mid lake area flipping frogs and worms in approximately 6 feet of water and glen would like to thank the love of his life Ms. Julie for allowing him to chase after those green fish. Glen won$290.00 for his day in the heat.

I have to mention Marshall Hughes, He came in with an awesome limit that weighed 19.59 lbs. He fishes out of a Triton Boat powered by Mercury and say he fished north of the 147 bridge, he was fishing with jigs and worms on ledges in 20 to 25 feet of water. He would like to thank County Home & Outdoors, Triton and Mercury for all their support.

You know its only getting hotter and I understand the heat makes it hard to want to go out and fish. But I hope you know how very much I appreciate each and every one of you that come out and support Anglers Quest. As long as there as some who want to fish, Anglers Quest will be here for you guys and gals. We will be back at Big Sam Rayburn on August 3rd for the team tournament and August 4th for the next Individual Tournament. And of course Ms. Kathy will try to have you guys some sweets for when you come in and we always have iced down drinks to help cool you guys off…Now with that said, I would like some input on making weigh-in a hour or two earlier so that you guys aren’t out in the heat as long. What do you guys think??? I don’t want to make a decision with out hearing from you.
