Christopher Chavis Wins ABA Division 94 Tournament on Savannah River
Chavis moves one step closer to the ABA National Championship with a 1st place win and earned a total of $401.00, in the American Fishing Tournament held on the Savannah River. Chavis weighed in five bass, which weighed 13.95 lbs.
2nd place went to Joe Toth with a five-bass weighing 7.73 lbs.
3rd place went to Joe McDonie with five bass weighing 6.89.
Christopher Chavis also had the big fish weighing in at 6.81 lbs.
These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in the ABA National Championship for the 2018 season.

At launch the temperatures were in the low 30’s with cloud cover. The day continued with temperatures topping out in the mid 50’s, clear throughout the day. Water temperatures were in the upper 40’s.
The winner Chavis reported catching all his fish at the entrance of Oxbows using Kistler rods paired with Ardend reels and his baits of choice were Treeshaker Tackle jigs and phcustomlures “W1”.
The next tournament in division 94 will be scheduled for January 13th out of Stokes Bluff Landing.
